Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced cafeteria environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, works well with others, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
This position involves dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, basic food preparation assistance, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work areas
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing supplies
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Take out garbage and recycling and maintain waste disposal areas
- Assist with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen and cafeteria
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
