As per schedule “A” of the CUPE, Local 3906, Unit 2 Collective Agreement, the Sessional Faculty rate is $7630.55 for 3 units.
This course provides students with the opportunity to explore and participate in active learning in partnership with various units within McMaster's Department of Athletics and Recreation. Students will complete a minimum of 36 hours of practice or experiential learning in a predetermined role and connect their co-curricular experience in Athletics and Recreation with their own leadership, mentorship, and communication skills development. Students will reflect on their co-curricular experiences and how they are related to their learning journey. Students will also gain experience in personal goal setting and documenting their experiences through reflection.
The successful applicant will have previous experience teaching this course, or similar courses, at the university level and/or appropriate academic qualifications.
- Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
