Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month temporary contract with our client in Milton, ON. The successful candidate will manage full-cycle AP, including invoice processing, approvals, reconciliations, month-end activities, AP reporting, and expense reports through SAP Concur.
5+ years of AP experience, strong Excel/ERP skills, excellent attention to detail, and French/English bilingualism are required. Experience with Infor XA and SAP Concur is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time. Temporary 6-month contract.
Job Location: Milton, ON (fully on-site to start before moving to a hybrid schedule after training)
Shift Structure: Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm
Compensation Structure: $60,000-$65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
· Verify, code and match invoices and post into the ERP
· Obtain all required invoice approval
· Coordinate month-end close tasks including accruals, accounts reconciliations and preparation of AP aging report and related analysis
· Foster strong relationships with Procurement and Operations departments to resolve invoice issues and get approval
· Manage expense report process via SAP Concur ensuring it complies with internal policies and procedures
- Super-user for the accounts payable module in Infor XA
· Support the Group Leader of Accounts Payable in projects oriented towards process improvements
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s in commerce, a college diploma in accounting (DEC) or equivalent experience
- Bilingual in French and English
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the full cycle of accounts payable
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, including advanced skills in Excel
- Detailed-oriented
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with an ERP and demonstrate an ease to learn and adapt to new ERP environment
- Experience with SAP Concur an asset
