We are looking for a full-time Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the supervising physiotherapist in implementing treatment plans for clients living in assisted living residential communities
- Perform treatments delegated by the supervising physiotherapist including strength training, stretching, range of motion, balance and gait training
- Take part in providing group exercise classes for the residents
- Complete and maintain record keeping and communication regarding patient intervention in accordance with the CPO guidelines
Qualifications
- PTA/OTA diploma, degree in Kinesiology or a similar healthcare background
- Previous experience in an assisted living or long term care setting an asset
- A valid Vulnerable Sector Screening check within the last 6 months
