Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Estimator for our automotive body repair shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of autobody repairs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to accurately assess repair costs. This role involves working closely with customers, technicians, and the sales team to ensure accurate estimates and high-quality service delivery.
Duties
- Review vehicle inspection reports and communicate repair needs clearly to customers
- Prepare detailed repair estimates based on your assessments and parts pricing
- Assist customers in understanding repair procedures, costs, and timelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately when applicable
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure estimates align with actual repairs needed
- Follow up with customers regarding approval of estimates and additional work required
- Maintain organized records of estimates, customer interactions, and repair histories
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns professionally
Experience
- Prior knowledge of autobody and automotive work preferred
- Proven experience in automotive repair estimating or related sales roles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
