Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Touch Bistro POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and proper food safety practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and guest satisfaction in a bustling restaurant environment
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Touch Bistro POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory
