We are a team of professional, creative and collaborative individuals who are passionate about education, great hair, and delivering a next level client experience. About the Role
This is an entry level position designed for someone who is passionate about the hair industry and ready to learn from the ground up. You'll work closely alongside our senior stylists and owners, supporting services behind the chair and playing a key role in keeping our salon running beautifully every single day.
This is more than an assistant role; it's the beginning of a real career in hair for the right person.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting senior stylists and owners behind the chair during services
- Setting up colour trays and preparing foils to keep services running smoothly
- Washing, toning and blow drying clients as needed
- Keeping the salon clean, beautiful and guest ready at all times
- Managing daily tasks including laundry, restocking and general upkeep
- Deep cleaning the salon as needed
- Receiving and putting away product orders when they arrive
- Showing up as a reliable and positive presence for both the team and our clients
What We're Looking For
- Some experience in hair or a genuine passion for the industry
- A cosmetology diploma is a bonus but not a requirement
- Someone responsible, punctual and proud of their work
- Someone who isn't afraid of the behind the scenes work that keeps a salon running at its best
- A team player who is eager to learn and be part of something special
- Must be local to Keswick or within reasonable commuting distance
