Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Crusher Foreman/Operator to lead and execute crushing operations at our aggregate pits . This role combines hands-on machinery operation with leadership responsibilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality crushing processes. Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee the operation of crushing equipment, including jaw crushers, cone crushers, and screening machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
- Lead a team of operators and laborers, providing guidance on safety procedures, operational tasks, and equipment maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations throughout all crushing activities.
- Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and setup of crushing equipment for different projects or material types.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining skills to maintain machinery and perform minor repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of production output, equipment maintenance logs, safety checks, and operational reports.
- Coordinate production and quality activities
- Coordinate production schedule of plant to optimize efficiency and product yield
- Organize production crew to ensure competitive production of aggregate materials
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in construction or manufacturing environments; experience with crushers is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, machining tools, and assembly techniques.
- Construction experience or background in manufacturing processes enhances suitability for this role.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and follow safety protocols diligently.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude toward teamwork and safety compliance.
