As an SMS Equipment Parts Coordinator, you will work with career trades people who take pride in their work and company. You will utilize essential skills such as:
Providing customer with accurate parts and pricing information and sourcing alternative parts options when OEM parts are not available for order.
Place customer approved orders
Review and track all customer po’s for parts orders ensuring all data and pricing is matched and accurate.
Track all backorders associated with area of responsibility.
Manage all incoming warranty claims with warranty group once received from customer / SMS Equipment site.
Source alternative parts when OEM is not available.
Process core returns when cores and information return from customer / SMS site
Organize and facilitate all incoming and outgoing shipments with the warehouses providing clear shipping instructions and information required to process.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have completed Parts Technician Certification training from an accredited institution. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Other requirements include:
3 years + experience in mining materials/equipment handling.
Proven ability to pay careful attention to details.
Ability to deal effectively and courteously with stakeholder even in difficult situations.
Sound working knowledge of computerized inventory systems such as ERP, SAP and WMS.
Ability to lift 50 – 75 pounds is a requirement.
Stock receiving experience would be beneficial.
Forklift and Fall Protection would be an asset.
