Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Basketball Coach to join our team and provide FUNdamental basketball skills, drills and games for children. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and mentor young minds in a fun and dynamic environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate games to boost kids confidence.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for kids to learn and develop skills.
- Organize fun games, drills, and friendly competition while praising kids for their effort.
- Provide guidance and support to children during sessions.
- Ensure all children are supervised at all times.
Requirements
Currently in College or Graduated from University
Played basketball in high school and/or university
Minimum 3 years basketball coaching experience
Love working with kids and keeping them engaged
Firm but friendly approach to coaching
Energetic, upbeat, and passionate about basketball
Strong communication and organizational skills
Desire to make a positive impact on the next generation
Previous experience working with children is preferred
Ability to educate and engage children in various activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Certification in CPR and First Aid, is an asset
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
