Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Livreur to join our team, responsible for delivering goods efficiently and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, and handling heavy loads. This role requires strong communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts. The Livreur plays a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload items using moving equipment and forklifts when necessary
- Ensure accurate delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes and timelines
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that arise
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing stock
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the delivery vehicle and warehouse environment
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse procedures
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred, especially involving moving or forklift operation
- Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license is highly desirable
- Customer service experience will be beneficial for interacting professionally with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures is a plus
Pay: From $16.60 per hour
