Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring that their dining experience is exceptional. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry especially in Japanese Seafood Restaurant. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in beverage service (wine, cocktails, sake and ETC)
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Micros POS system or other point-of-sale systems.
- Serve food and drinks to customers efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
- Handle cash transactions and manage cash handling procedures with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices at all times.
- Assist with basic math calculations for order totals and tips as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
Skills
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, showcasing familiarity with the food service environment.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions with guests.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
