RoadSafetyBC is the lead provincial agency for road safety and is responsible for setting strategic direction and establishing a provincial approach to road safety throughout British Columbia. RoadSafetyBC regulates drivers and operates a number of programs to help regulate the safe and responsible operation of motor vehicles in B.C.

PSSG Intersection Safety Camera Officers (ISCOs) are responsible for charging all Intersection Safety Camera offences within the Intersection Safety Camera Program and for prosecution of those violation tickets in traffic courts around the province.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

Grade 12 graduation with recent work experience in the areas of law enforcement, public safety, justice sector or security.

Experience working in regulatory compliance or quasi-judicial environment.

Experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, regulations and policy.

Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.

Provisos:
Must pass RCMP Enhanced Security clearance to be appointed as Special Constable pursuant to Section 9 of the Police Act.

Travel is a requirement of this position.

Must be able to successfully complete Standardized Traffic Control Training.
