Sales Representative – Industrial Acoustic Imaging & NDT Equipment Overview
We are an established Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) distribution company seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and supporting existing customers by promoting industry-leading acoustic imaging equipment and NDT solutions for industrial applications.
Our customers operate across industries including oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, manufacturing, utilities, and pipeline inspection. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong relationship-building skills, technical aptitude, and a passion for helping customers improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Existing knowledge of, or contacts within, the oil and gas industry are considered a significant asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, manufacturing, and pipeline sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with plant personnel, maintenance teams, reliability engineers, inspectors, contractors, and purchasing departments.
- Promote and sell acoustic imaging equipment and complementary NDT products and solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical presentations to customers, both in the field and virtually.
- Understand customer inspection, maintenance, and reliability challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and achieve established sales targets.
- Attend industry trade shows, customer sites, and networking events to generate new business.
- Collaborate with internal technical and customer support teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends, inspection technologies, and competitor products.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial sales, technical sales, or business development is preferred.
- Experience with acoustic imaging, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), instrumentation, or industrial inspection equipment is an asset.
- Knowledge of industrial piping systems, compressed air systems, steam systems, or mechanical integrity programs is beneficial.
- Existing relationships or contacts within the oil and gas industry are a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical products to a wide range of customers.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable traveling to customer sites throughout the assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.

Pay: $32,515.08-$121,194.61 per year
