Do you have a passion for process, continuous improvement, influencing at all levels and leading change for the better? If so, we have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Manager of Finance Process Efficiencies. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for leading positive change across the Loblaw Finance organization. You will act as an internal consultant and coach, aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing risk, and improving the colleague experience. You will have a sound analytical background, which will be complemented with your financial process experience. You will help create a sustainable world class Finance environment, which will enhance our business and align with our Finance Vision!
Breaking down and applying current trends in technology and Financial systems and relating them to current and future business challenges
Identify ineffective processes and proactively develop plans with business partners to address issues in established procedures
Effectively coach teams to assist leaders in identifying, developing, implementing and monitoring best practices across various functions
Promote the practice of lean methodology to measure the strength of end to end processes
Lead Finance Performance Improvement engagements, by collaborating with front line Finance teams, which involve looking at the company’s internal complex finance processes and advising on solutions around creating efficient or improving existing processes
Employ various analytical tools to identify root-cause for issues and implement solutions
Perform ad-hoc requests as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
7 + years’ experience in related Finance roles
A strong relationship manager with exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster and develop relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
Creative, innovative and strategic thinking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and financial acumen
A strong work ethic
Willingness to travel to meet client needs
Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Windows
Transformational experience (preferred)
Proficient use of Lean Process methodology (preferred)
Professional accounting designation (CPA) is an asset
