Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and strong customer service skills are essential. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent hospitality and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols diligently
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $360.00-$440.00 per hour
