Pro-formance Intermodal Inc. is looking for professional and safety-oriented Class 1 driver (AB-BC) to fill a full-time position, a year round work with a positive work environment and an equipment that is well-maintained by our inhouse mechanics.
Position Summary
Operates a semi truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Role involves adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to its destination.
Driver responsibilities include the following:
· Maintain accurate log book records and adhere to Hours of Service regulations
· Must perform pre-trip & post-trip truck/trailer inspections
· Follow company safety program expectation and adhere to Provincial & Federal transportation safety regulations
· Positive attitude toward safety values
· Respect company equipment and maintain cleanliness
Qualifications include:
· Class 1 with current abstract
· 2 years of commercial long haul highway and mountain experience
