The Eye Institute at Kensington Health
Kensington Eye Institute is a state-of-the-art ambulatory eye surgery centre. We provide world-class, individualized, and timely care to patients requiring cataract, glaucoma, retina, and corneal surgery.
As a Registered Practical Nurse in the Operating Room, you will deliver perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing ophthalmic surgery. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support safe, efficient surgical care and excellent patient outcomes.
Establishes and maintains good relations with professional and non-professional staff, patients, families, volunteers and the community.
Works safely in compliance with accepted safe work practices, procedures, and legislated health and safety standards. Employees must use and wear required equipment and protective devices, report hazards and incidents, attend required health and safety training, and follow established safe work procedures.
