Job description
Work includes: Our production assistant is a multi-faceted job that includes anything from lamination and mounting prints on rigid substrates, to trimming photo prints and installing vinyl signs on buildings or vehicles. Additional tasks include the finishing of small-format printing, such as trimming paper stacks, counting and boxing for customers and other duties as assigned. Delivery and installation of graphics at customer locations is also part of this position. The job varies every day based on what orders we have in the shop.
Requirements: This job requires a straight eye and attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions and identify inconsistencies and the ability to work from a ladder or man-lift during site installations. Must be safety oriented and work well in a team environment.
Experience working and performing finishing tasks and graphic installation in a sign shop and/or with large format printing equipment and current valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract is required.
Physical requirements: Part of this job will require will include the handling of heavy media and boxes. The ability to lift 50lbs or more will be required.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

- vinyl graphic installation: 2 years (preferred)
- large format print finishing: 1 year (preferred)
