As a Patient Care & Optical Services Associate, you will play an important role throughout the patient journey—from greeting patients and managing appointments to assisting with eyewear selection and supporting clinical testing. You will work closely with our doctors, optician, and optical team to deliver outstanding patient care and service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Manage appointments, recalls, and patient communications
- Verify patient information and assist with administrative tasks
- Support optical sales by helping patients select frames and lenses
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear solutions
- Perform frame adjustments and eyewear fittings
- Assist with order processing and inventory management
- Conduct preliminary testing and pre-screening procedures prior to examinations
- Support doctors and the clinical team as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in optometry, optical, healthcare, retail, or customer service is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable learning clinical and optical procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient care
- Experience with optical sales or eyewear dispensing is an asset, but training will be provided for the right candidate
