Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and experienced Line Cooks and Pizza Makers to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked properly and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry best practices
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
- Prior kitchen experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
