Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
Skills:
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff and servers
- Physical stamina and endurance to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
