King EPCM is looking to fill a full-time Chemical Environmental Engineer position. This position is for an experienced professional engineer to independently create sampling plans, coordinate with laboratory for containers, manage container inventory within company, and write professional reports. Under the direct guidance of the Principal Engineer, the Environmental Engineer is expected to independently complete projects related to their field of expertise. This position is also expected to coordinate with in-house field crew, including inspections, soil and groundwater sampling, and other activities.
- Independently review projects and create environmental investigation programs, specifically Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Phase I and Phase II Reports under O.Reg 153/04
- Fully understand and capable of assessing stockpiles and excess soil fill under O.Reg 406/19
- Manage field technicians for in-house drilling program, soil sampling, and groundwater sampling
- Creation of remediation plans based on third-party submitted tenders for remediation
- Must demonstrate fluency in understating different evaluation criteria of O.Reg 153/04
- Demonstrate experience in the Record of Site Condition (RSC) submission process
- Must demonstrate fluency in understating different evaluation criteria of O.Reg 406/19
- Must have perfect command of the English language and ability to independently write reports
- Candidates should have between three - five (3 - 5) years of experience
- Must be physically fit to conduct field-visits, including in remote locations
- Must have valid G driver’s license and personal vehicle, willing to travel to project site

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
