What You’ll Be Doing
As a Benefit Renewal Analyst at Group Force, you are the star of the show. You are an integral part of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. You will liaise between our advisors and insurance company representatives to ensure the timely and successful delivery of new business and renewal client presentations in your assigned group. This Includes:
Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your assigned client group and advisor
Financial data entry for renewals and marketing (i.e. Experience info, rate history, demographic data, etc.)
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of client presentations (new business/ renewal) for potential clients as well as existing ones:
Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date
New Business – 10 business days / 15 business days (large group)
Maintain full workload on our internal filing system (SharePoint)
Analyzing proposals from carriers for new prospects (rates, plan design, TLR, etc.)
Key Skills for Success
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Highly organized with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people and function well both in a team environment and autonomously.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge, Education and/or Experience
4+ years of experience within the Group Benefits industry
Comprehensive knowledge of group benefit plans
Experience managing all aspects of group benefit plan renewals and new business requests in an MGA environment
Certificates, Licenses, Registration
Professional benefits designation an asset (such as GBA, CEBS, etc.)
