Position Title: Residential Building Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Residential Building Manager to oversee the daily operations of a brand-new residential property. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and well-managed environment for residents while coordinating maintenance, vendor services, and tenant relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential building.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and address inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, building systems, and exterior grounds.
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance, repairs, and contractor services.
- Respond to emergencies and ensure timely resolution of building issues.
- Manage move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, incidents, and building activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and property management regulations.
- Assist with rent collection and administrative duties as required.
- Monitor building security and enforce property rules and policies.
- Assist with delivering notices and supporting rule/policy compliance.
- Oversee suite showings, applications, and leasing support as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential property management, building management, office administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication, multitask and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) regulations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supervising contractors or maintenance staff.
- Knowledge of local residential tenancy regulations.
- First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.
- Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary.
