Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead landscape construction crews and oversee projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of managing both people and jobsite operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
This position involves hands-on leadership, equipment operation, crew management, and communication with clients and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape construction crews.
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities and scheduling.
- Read and interpret plans and construction drawings.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
- Operate equipment including excavators, skid steers, and compact machinery.
- Manage materials, deliveries, and equipment on site.
- Communicate professionally with clients throughout projects.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
- Complete daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation.
- Coordinate subcontractors and outside trades when required.
- Identify and solve construction issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of landscape construction experience.
- Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
- Experience operating excavators and skid steers.
- Valid Ontario driver's license (DZ license considered an asset).
- Ability to read landscape or construction plans.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work.
- Experience with ponds, retaining walls, patios, or water features is considered an asset.

Schedule
- 8–10 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work during peak season
