CASUAL EMPLOYEES
Cape Breton University invites applications for the Mailroom / Print Shop Clerk. This is a casual position on a on-call basis.
The successful candidate will provide a communication link for the day-to-day business conducted by the University through the circulation, distribution, and sorting of all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and memos through Canada Post, courier services, and internal University mail.
The successful candidate is also responsible for the University’s shipping and receiving duties and also provides day-to-day support in the operation of the University’s Print Shop.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Completion of High School Diploma
- 1 year of related experience is considered an asset
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computerized systems and databases (MS Office and Email) with the ability to learn updated and/or new software quickly required
- Ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment and cooperatively with University employees
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including good customer service
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
