Key Responsibilities
- Fire Alarm Systems: Install, wire, test, and commission commercial fire alarm systems.
- Code Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with the current Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and local building/fire codes.
- Conduit & Wiring: Bend and run conduit, handle complex control wiring, and expertly wire electrical panels.
- System Maintenance: Install, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems at various job sites.
- Mobility: Travel reliably to different assigned manufacturing and commercial project sites.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensing: Valid Construction and Maintenance Electrician licence (309A).
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in the electrical trade, with a strong focus on commercial projects and fire alarm installation.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in conduit bending, panel wiring, and reading electrical schematics.
- Physical Demands: Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
Salary: $40.00-$40.00 per hour
