Job Summary:
We are looking for strong, hardworking individuals for a short-term, physically demanding job assisting with the setup and tear-down of a large circus tent. This is a 2-day assignment only—one day to put the tent up, and one day to take it down. If you are reliable, fit, and ready to work hard, we want you on our crew!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lift and carry heavy tent poles, metal frames, and canvas sections.
- Hammer stakes into the ground and secure ropes and guy lines.
- Assist with unfolding, positioning, and anchoring large tarpaulins.
- Work as part of a team following the lead rigger/supervisor's instructions.
- On tear-down day: dismantle frames, roll up canvas, pull stakes, and load all equipment onto trucks/trailers.
- Maintain a safe work environment by keeping the work area clear of trip hazards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs (34 kg) repeatedly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, wind, or light rain).
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- No prior circus experience required—just a great attitude and strong work ethic!
- Steel-toed boots, high vis vest, hard hat and gloves are mandatory (must provide your own).
- Reliable transportation to the job site in Saskatchewan.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (no sponsorship provided for this short-term role).
Pay: $22.00 per hour
