Avery HR is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Machine Shop team in Brampton.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating lift trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, good inventory management skills, and a strong focus on safety and organization.
Candidates must have Reach and Counterbalance forklift licenses and a minimum of two years consecutive experience in a similar role.
Location: Brampton, ON (Goreway & Steeles)
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Pick orders using RF scanning and forklift.
- Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials.
- Put away incoming freight.
- Assist walk-in customers as needed.
- General warehouse duties as required.
- Perform manual duties when required.
Skills:
- Minimum two years experience operating Reach and Counterbalance.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Good digital processing skills for inventory tracking
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Requirements:
- Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licenses.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum two years recent warehouse experience.
- Clear criminal background check.
