Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to concrete installation, finishing, and restoration projects. Duties
- Prepare sites by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and ensuring proper alignment based on blueprints and schematics
- Operate heavy equipment such as mixers, cranes, and power tools safely and efficiently during concrete pouring and finishing processes
- Mix, pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth surfaces and precise finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute concrete forming, masonry work, and flooring installation
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, troweling, caulking, and sealing to meet project specifications
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures by repairing cracks, replacing damaged sections, or applying protective coatings
- Assist with welding, carpentry, masonry, and other related tasks as needed to support comprehensive construction efforts
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
- Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in concrete installation and finishing processes
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively in various job site conditions
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and rebar installation practices
- Familiarity with renovation projects including flooring installation and restoration work
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Experience with welding, caulking, flooring installation, and the use of hand tools and power tools is highly desirable
