Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong expertise in accounting software (CDK) and financial analysis, with a focus on optimizing financial processes to support strategic growth. The Financial Controller will play a key role in budgeting, account reconciliation, and financial planning to ensure the company's fiscal health.
Duties
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into company performance.
- Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize accounting software such as CDK, other accounting platforms to streamline financial operations.
- Develop and monitor budgets in collaboration with senior management to align financial goals with operational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to financial reporting.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Provide guidance on financial best practices and assist in strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable management, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, account analysis, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Pay: $67,019.06-$134,101.34 per year
