Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our logistics team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment, with the ability to operate various equipment and systems to streamline distribution processes.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately
- Receive incoming inventory, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and document receipt in warehouse management systems
- Assist with order picking and fulfillment for e-commerce orders or warehouse distribution needs
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and reach trucks
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Support cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and optimize workflow
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP software, or AS400 is preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely; certification is a plus
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment procedures
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities
- Experience with order picking, packing, load & unload procedures, especially in e-commerce environments
- Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure product safety during transit
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $20.00-$25.63 per hour
