Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is required.
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Familiarity with food industry standards, food handling, and serving protocols.
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
