Contract Opportunity – Supportive Roommate
Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Supportive Roommate to join our team.
In this meaningful role, you will work directly with adults with disabilities, providing support as they participate in recreational and social activities. You will help promote personal growth, community inclusion, independence, and overall well-being.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, completed within the past two years
- A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach when working with others
- Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Proof of $2 million in third-party liability vehicle insurance
- Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level C certification, required within three months of hire
- Successful candidates must obtain General Commercial Liability Insurance
Training
Training in the following areas is available at the applicant's expense:
- Medication Administration
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Abuse Protocol
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
