About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, data-driven, and strategic Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead our revenue-generating processes and drive sustainable growth at Bioteem. In this C-suite role, you will be the architect of our cohesive revenue engine, aligning traditionally siloed departments—including sales, marketing, and customer success. The ideal candidate will blend the aggressive growth mindset of a Chief Sales Officer with the strategic market positioning of a Chief Marketing Officer.
You will play an integral role on the executive management team in building out the Bioteem brand, overseeing B2B, DTC, and CPG brand growth to support our upcoming national and international launches.
Core Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy & Alignment: Build a unified revenue engine by ensuring that marketing (lead generation), sales (closing deals), and customer success (retention and upsells) work together seamlessly to drive growth.
- Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Set short-term and long-term targets, manage complex sales pipelines, and build reliable revenue forecasts.
- Customer Journey Optimization: Oversee the entire customer journey to maximize customer lifetime value and minimize churn.
- Pricing & Revenue Operations (RevOps): Collaborate with finance and product teams to design optimal pricing models and leverage CRM data to identify growth opportunities and streamline RevOps.
- Sales Leadership & B2B Growth: Set and monitor KPIs for new account setups and revenue generation. Actively engage and manage relationships with key brokers and distributors, including ANB and LCG.
- Business Development: Pursue additional contractual work in Long Term Care (LTC) and OEM sectors, and forge strategic partnerships with key brands such as Booster Juice and Supplement King.
- Marketing Integration: Maintain a firm understanding of the marketing obligations required for B2B growth and accurately forecast the financial requirements to meet those obligations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work jointly with internal administration, logistics, Business Development, Operations & Management, and Production to ensure internal operations scale with future growth.
- Large-Scale Contract Acquisition: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and pursue large contractual works, including NASA, WHO, military, naval, and other government opportunities, ensuring operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Profile
- Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding and proven experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), B2B, and DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) brand growth.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in a senior sales, marketing, or revenue leadership role.
- Strategic Vision: Strong ability to forecast revenue, build financial models, and align operational capabilities with market demands.
- Relationship Management: Exceptional relationship-building skills required for managing broker and distributor networks, negotiating strategic partnerships, and navigating complex government or institutional contracts.
- Cultural Fit: A collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and is driven to scale a brand globally.
