Aurora Roofing is family-owned and operated business with over 15 years of experience. We specialize in commercial and residential roofing in the lower mainland and are experienced in asphalt shingles, torch-on roofs, TPO roofs, rubber roofs, and metal roofs.

Term of Employment: Permanent, Full time
Wages: $36- $ 45per hour depending on experience
Anticipated Start Date: as soon as possible
Location: Surrey and various job sites- Lower Mainland
Who Are We Looking For?
- 2+ years’ roofing experience
- Completion of 1 or 2 years’ apprenticeship program or
- Over 2 years of work experience in the trade are usually required to be eligible for trade certification would be an asset
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Work at heights while following safety protocols
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in roofing
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Interprovincial trade certification (Red Seal), and First Aid/other safety tickets, would be an advantage and may get higher pay
- Must have a valid B.C Drivers license in good standing
- Must have own transportation or ability to get to and from job/project sites
- Must have (or obtain) own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves and tools
TASKS
- Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
- Install single-ply roofing system such as TPO, PVC, EPDM
- Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platform
