As a Service Writer/Parts Salesperson you will:
Be responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, you will perform in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Open work orders as directed by the Operations Manager and maintain control until work order is closed. Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department’s operation within the dealership. On occasion, assist with basic service tasks in the shop as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous parts counter experience is preferred
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms
- Basic data entry/computer knowledge
- Ability to lift 75lbs. repeatedly
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
The hourly wage for this role is typically $21.25 to $36.80 per hour and represents a range across all of PrairieCoast’s BC and Alberta locations. It is influenced by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant training, and work location.
In compliance with the BC provincial government mandates, we are posting a broad wage range to adhere to the wage transparency requirements.
