Job Summary
Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscaper/Labourer and be part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments! Duties
- Assist with planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery to enhance landscape aesthetics
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators for excavation and site prep
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth
- Perform general garden care including mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, and edging
- Help with landscape construction tasks such as setting foundations, installing features, and building structures
- Conduct routine landscape maintenance to keep outdoor spaces tidy and well-kept
- Follow safety protocols during all tasks and report any equipment issues or hazards promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience with construction or landscaping projects is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot tools and equipment effectively
- Familiarity with gardening practices and horticulture principles is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and efficiently
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators is advantageous but not required; training will be provided if needed
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role
