What will you do?
Reporting to the supervisor, continuous improvement, the inspector will monitor the quality of production, mainly by inspecting finished products, and will also be expected to produce non-compliance reports (NCR) as needed and conduct problem assessments (8D). He or she will also work on improving internal processes not only for quality assurance, but also for production.
Conduct quality inspections for factory-made products, mainly for custom electrical distribution panels;
Perform various electrical and mechanical tests, including electrical functionality tests;
Execute and document processes through written procedures.
What will you need to succeed?
College degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or other relevant studies;
A combination of studies and relevant experience will be considered;
Experience in quality control or other related experience;
Working knowledge of measurement instruments;
Ability to report inspection findings accurately;
Resourcefulness, thoroughness, autonomy, rigor and discipline;
Strong knowledge of French (written and spoken);
Strong knowledge of English (written and spoken);
Good understanding of wiring diagrams, plan reading and customer specifications;
Knowledge of ISO quality system.
