Job Overview
We are seeking a few dedicated and detail-oriented part-time or full-time Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Support kitchen staff during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent cross-contamination and accidents
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
- Serving experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
