What you Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of related HSE Professional experience in Lead Role capacity.
- Experience in heavy industrial, energy, oil and gas industries
- Manage and implementation of OH&S policies and procedures for existing Health and Safety Management systems (HSMS)
- Competency in adequate HSMS processes as the apply to documentation and procedure management including Leading and Lagging indicator trending
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Proficient in working with local legislation and required regulations
- Participate in accident investigations, root cause analysis and prepare accident reports
- Organize and deliver all communications as it applies to the company HSMS
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) with the ability to work with multiple programs
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with team members and coworkers
- Previous Experience: Safety, health safety, hse, health and safety, safety coordinator, ncso safety manager, occupational health safety, environmental, safety specialist
Requirements:
- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- OHS / CRSP or NCSO certification
- Standard First Aid
- Valid Drivers License with Clean Abstract
- CSTS09 or CSTS 20 / WHMIS 2015
- H2S Alive
- Fall Protection
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $65.00-$74.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
