## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial management, and possess excellent analytical skills.
## Duties
- All general accounting duties
- Payroll including weekly remittances
- All government reporting and remittances, including T slips
- WSIB accident reporting
- Overseeing junior accountant
- Accounts receivable - Invoicing customers, posting payments, reconciling accounts and collections
- Accounts payable – Post some (very few) payable invoices, make weekly payments by cheque and EFT
- Costing of all projects
- Monthly financial statements, including commission reports
- Biannual inventory reconciliation
- Year end procedures
## Experience
### Required Skills:
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Sage 50 Quantum Accounting software
- Construction industry
- Project costing
- Inventory reconciliation

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
