We are hiring an experienced Automatic Screen Printer / Press Operator to join our production team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with real automatic press experience who can maintain production pace, print quality, and consistency in a fast-moving production environment. We specialize in quick turnaround and high volume apparel decoration.
The ideal candidate has real automatic screen printing experience and understands both speed and quality. You should be comfortable running production, making basic press adjustments, and keeping jobs moving without sacrificing print standards.
You should be able to handle common production jobs independently and be capable of running more complex, high-detail, multi-colour jobs after setup.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys production work, takes pride in clean prints, and understands that strong output comes from teamwork, organization, and consistency.
Required Experience / Skills
- Experience operating automatic screen printing presses.
- Experience with M&R or Anatol presses.
- Ability to maintain a strong production pace during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to set up and run general jobs under 6 colours.
- Ability to run complex jobs up to 12 colours once approved and registered. Highly detailed/halftone - mind the dot gain.
- Understanding of registration, off-contact, squeegee pressure, flood/print stroke, flash timing, and print quality.
- Ability to work with unloaders, catchers, and other production staff.
- Ability to rotate through production tasks on longer runs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to catch and communicate print issues early.
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow production instructions.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and moving for most of the shift.
- Repetitive garment loading and handling.
- Lifting boxes, screens, inks, and production materials as needed.
- Working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to maintain focus and consistency during longer production runs.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- 8-hour shift
- Can start at either 8am or 12pm
Compensation
Pay will be based on experience, reliability, and demonstrated production ability.
Summary
