Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking a Clerical Coordinator to Plan, organize, manage and evaluate of all out-patient registrations and bookings at the North East Cancer Centre (NECC), including the Community of Oncology Chemotherapy Network. The successful candidate will oversee staffing, daily activities, improvement initiatives and maintain a positive wait time performance with Ontario Health – Cancer Care Ontario (OH-CCO) for all key quality metrics related to patient wait time for cancer bookings.
The successful candidate must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Administration or equivalent professional training in a relevant healthcare profession. A minimum of three years’ experience working in a hospital environment and a minimum of two years’ experience working in a leadership/supervisory role is required. The successful candidate must also have training or recent experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, as well as report writing.
