We are looking for a full-time Resin 3D Print Farm Operator to help run and maintain a small resin 3D printing production setup.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, mechanically inclined, and comfortable following detailed production procedures. Experience with resin 3D printing is strongly preferred, but we are also open to candidates with strong technical aptitude, manufacturing experience, or hobby 3D printing experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate multiple resin 3D printers in a production environment
- Prepare print files using slicing software
- Load resin, prepare build plates, and start print jobs
- Remove completed prints safely and carefully
- Wash, dry, cure, and post-process printed parts
- Remove supports and inspect parts for defects
- Track print jobs, material usage, failures, and completed quantities
- Clean vats, build plates, tools, and workstations
- Perform routine printer maintenance and calibration
- Troubleshoot failed prints and basic equipment issues
- Maintain resin, consumables, tools, and spare parts inventory
- Follow safety procedures for resin, cleaning chemicals, UV curing, and PPE
- Work with the team to improve print quality, throughput, and repeatability

- Comfortable using a computer and learning slicing software

Relevant Experience
Experience in any of the following is an asset:
- Resin 3D printing
- FDM 3D printing
- Additive manufacturing
- Model making
- Dental printing
- Jewelry printing
- CNC, laser cutting, or other digital fabrication tools
Requirements
- Able to work full-time on site in Oakville
- Able to wear gloves, safety glasses, and other PPE as required
- Comfortable working around resin, wash solutions, UV curing stations, and production equipment
- Able to lift and move resin bottles, build plates, trays, and supplies as needed
- Able to follow written safety, cleaning, and maintenance procedures
- WHMIS training is an asset; training can be provided
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Chitubox, Lychee, Voxeldance, or similar slicer software
- Experience with Elegoo, Anycubic, Phrozen, Formlabs, or similar resin printers
- Understanding of supports, orientation, exposure settings, layer height, and curing time
- Ability to identify common print failures and suggest corrections
- Basic knowledge of dimensional inspection tools such as calipers
Practical Skill Test
Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a practical assessment involving basic printer setup, part inspection, support removal, or troubleshooting questions.
