Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages promptly
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, OSCAR.
- Verify insurance information, process payments, and handle billing documentation efficiently
- Assist with appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling to optimize clinic flow
- Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, updating medical histories, and managing medical terminology documentation
- Ensure the reception area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a medical office assistant (MOA/Receptionist)in a Family Practice setting with Medical office experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as OSCAR
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
- Prior office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of office equipment and administrative procedures related to front desk operations
- Experience with medical terminology and healthcare documentation is highly desirable

Pay: $22.00-$27.11 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 37.5 per week
