Butchie’s is a popular Southern inspired “meat and three” restaurant owned by a Food Network celebrity chef. Known for smoked meats, buttermilk fried chicken, sustainable seafood, and homemade pies, we’ve become a go-to destination in Durham Region for bold flavours and warm, genuine hospitality.
Set on 1.5 acres of green space with a dining room and lively patio, Butchie’s is more than a restaurant - it’s a community gathering place.
We’re looking for fun, energetic and accountable Servers to join our team.
Please note: This role is EVENINGS and WEEKENDS only. No daytime shifts.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and engage guests with confidence and warmth
- Take accurate food & beverage orders and enter into POS
- Deliver food promptly and ensure guest satisfaction
- Clear/reset tables and maintain a clean, organized section
- Process payments and complete opening/closing side work
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth service
- Uphold high standards of service, cleanliness, and teamwork
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years serving experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong food & beverage knowledge (wine & cocktails an asset)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-first attitude
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
