Safety-Kleen Canada Inc. in Chambly, Quebec, is looking for a Warehouse worker / Driver in training to join its safety-conscious team! The Driver in Training is responsible for being trained on how to transport hazardous waste (box truck, tank, van, and/or roll-off dump truck) from a generator/facility to a company facility and/or an outside disposal facility;
They will be required to follow established procedures to maintain a safe workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for learning how to transport hazardous waste (tank, van, and/or roll-off dump trailer) from a generator/facility to a company facility and/or an outside disposal facility adhering to Department of
-
Transportation (DOT) and hazardous waste (HAZMAT) regulations; communicate regularly with Coordinators regarding daily times and demurrag

Responsible for learning to ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste (i.e., drums are properly segregated and loaded, etc.); Adhere to weights and ensure proper utilization of Company equipment.

Responsible for learning the proper placarding of vehicle to meet Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.

Responsible for learning how to maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecard, expense reports, dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports.

Responsible for learning to maintain and clean assigned Company equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order.

May be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs.
