Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Previous hotel experience or custodial background is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas and guest corridors are tidy and well-maintained
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety and sanitation policies to maintain a hygienic environment
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting and folding linens
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and beverages in guest rooms
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated timeframes
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus
- Friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
